| Friday February 16 was a day worth to remember, both for Skambankt and hopefully for the audience at Folken. Three hours before the start of the show, the happy news came in that the concert was sold out beforehand. And what a concert it turned out to be. The audience was boiling, Skambankt as well. I think we can dare to say that people - putting it mildly - enjoyed their eyes out. Nobody could have dared to hope for a better start of the tour. On Saturday, Feb. 17, it was time for Hulen in Bergen to get its share. This was also a brilliant night, full house and an even better Skambankt. The little problems and premiere nerves that came up occasionally the night before were gone, and only fun was left. Well deserved, the tour start was rewarded with 5 stars in both the paper version of Stavanger Aftenblad and RA. Thanks to both Folken and Hulen for a great atmosphere. Especially to Folken that never let the coffee maker come to rest. . So, why is Rosie sulky? After several weeks with intense pimping and many treats in the monster garage at Stavanger Forum, one should believe that Rosie would be happy and ready for a long tour. But it started already when Onkel Rock, driver and backline tech, wanted to start our dear in Bergen. After a LOT of back and forth she let herself be convinced and the trip home could start. This was only the tender beginning of all that should come. A trip that normally takes 4.5 hours took 8, and contained among other things long phases with driving in the real dark. Home at least... Is it jelousy or obsessive devilry? Skambankt will use the next days to find out about that. |
