20/9/2009: New songs!

OK, not REALLY new songs, but new songs on the setlist! For the fall tour, Skambankt kept their promise and rehearsed some new songs. If you want to, take a peek at the setlist from the Rockefeller concert! And then check out the upcoming concerts and get your ticket. =;-)
But the setlist wasn't the only highlight at the concert in Oslo: During KKK, Prepple from Dum Dum Boys came on stage to sing his part!

17/9/2009: Sony!

It's been all over the internet the last days: Skambankt were signed by Sony! Their contract with Tuba Records was fulfilled, and now Skambankt are looking forward to work with a bigger company. According to a newspaper interview, there is no reason to worry though that Skambankt will go indie and country and more commercial now: "It's still us four who make the music. We are in the middle of the process, and busy with a new record and working on new songs. There will be a new studio and a new producer, but it hasn't been decided yet who it's gonna be." But - the album will be out in the fall of 2010 already!

21/8/2009: Up north!

Skambankt played two concerts in Tromsø last week - thanks to Lena, you can already read the reports and check out the photos. Enjoy!
Currently, the first dates for concerts in the fall are coming in. Oslo (Sep. 18) and Stavanger (Oct. 10) are confirmed on the websites of the venues already, an unconfirmed date is Haugesund (Oct. 9). If you hear of other concert dates, let me know! As it seems, there will be some more Skambankt concerts in the fall. Up to now, only the concert at Rockefeller in Oslo is confirmed, but there will be more! So let's wait for all the dates...

23/7/2009: Another tour?

Skambankt have been announced to play at Rockefeller in Oslo again in September - who knows, maybe that means that they'll play another tour in fall? (Not that they wouldn't be touring constantly, that is... =;-)) Let's wait and see!
